As a stand up comedian, Rondell Sheridan transforms ordinary occurrences into hilarious and hearty tales.  In an age where stand-up is under attack for its bawdy content, Sheridan disarms his audiences with a wholesome ease. His comedy is a mixture of playful physicality, facial expressions and a gift to continually shift comedic gears. Maybe it’s his inviting eyes, his big easy smile or his twenty years plus experience, but Sheridan will make you laugh whether he’s acting, hosting, or doing stand-up.

Beginning in the mid 80’s Sheridan became a fixture on the stand-up circuit by headlining clubs, colleges and international cruise liners.  He appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jay and Johnny, “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher” and starred in cable specials for both Showtime and Comedy Central.

In 1994, he co-created the TV series “Minor Adjustments” which was the first and only prime time series to premiere on one network (NBC) and then air on a second (UPN) during the same TV season.  Sheridan portrayed a child psychologist who was the voice of sanity amongst his dysfunctional co-workers, family and friends.

For millions of Americans Sheridan is an extended part of their family. He was Andre on the Nickelodeon series “Cousin Skeeter,” portrayed Raven Simone’s dad on the Disney Channel’ s hit series “ That’s So Raven,” and was also seen as Victor Baxter on “Corey in the House.”  He has co-hosted the syndicated talk show series “Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus” and hosted both syndicated series “That’s Funny” and “Show Me The Funny.” He has also directed an episode of Hannah Montana and multiple episodes of both “That’s So Raven” and “Cory in the House.”
